Introduction
The Nepal Residence Mission of Asian Development Bank has prepared an automated environmental safeguard monitoring system (A-ESMS) to introduce digital technology with web-based/mobile application in real-time environmental compliance monitoring and reporting. The System was further refined under support from on-going ADB supported Public Investments Implementation Performance Improvement technical assistance (PIIPI) in Nepal. PIIPI aims to address infrastructure bottlenecks, streamline execution, and enhance digital e-governance processes for portfolio performance improvements. The A-ESMS will include real-time compliance tracking, dashboards, and automated alerts across project sites. The system is currently in the enhancement, piloting and final rollout stage in major infrastructure projects. 
The valuate the project performance with the help of this application the project stakeholders will have a consolidated knowledge on real-time monitoring and tracking environmental safeguards and safety Environmental Safeguards Monitoring System (A-ESMS) is designed to be used for creating, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting environmental safeguard and safety performance in projects. It supports in overall environment and safety scoring to compliances in projects. It is a centralized storage of environmental safeguard and safety data with photos and video. There are three key user groups in a project- project management office, consultant, and ADB. Each group has allocated access to the level of information that could be accessed. 

Training Objectives
  Upon the completion of training, participants will be able to:
•    Describe the fundamental concepts and key features of the EHS Monitoring System.
•    Demonstrate the process of collecting EHS field data using the mobile application.
•    Apply the EHS scoring and evaluation methodology to assess field data accurately.
•    Enter and manage EHS monitoring data for their respective projects using the system.
•    Generate and interpret EHS monitoring reports using the web application for project monitoring and decision-making.
•    Apply ADB EHS monitoring guidelines and standards to ensure compliance in project implementation.
